Beware Of Anti-Aging hGH False Claims

Can the anti-aging hgh claims be all lies? Do they really help in reversing the aging process?

According to some so-called experts, you should stay away from all anti-aging clinics and age management medicine. They claim you're being taken for a ride because there's no conclusive evidence that the aging process can be reversed.

The hgh in anti-aging hgh stands for human growth hormone. Without giving you nightmares about biology 101, this is a hormone that is produced by the body's master gland (the pituitary gland - found at the base of the brain). It reaches its peak levels during puberty and gradually declines after 30.

You may be wondering how this relates to anti-aging. Well, some 20 years ago, the New England Journal of Medicine reported the outcome of a 6-month study done on 12 older men (in their 60s) and the beneficial effects of hgh.

At the end of the experiment, the men had a 14% decrease in body fat, a 9% increase in lean body mass and an increase in bone density. From that study, an entire industry was born.

Today, the heart of the hgh debate seems to be more on the philosophical nature of what it means to grow older than on anything else. On one corner the FDA is doing its best to crack down on false advertising about the age reversing power of hgh. On another corner you find the warnings of the potential dangers of hgh.

Meanwhile, pharmaceutical companies are giving consumers what they want, to hold on to youth for as long as possible. So do the products work or are they a scam? I can't say for sure that they work since I haven't tried any of them.

But I'd be hard pressed to look at the billions of dollars of profits posted year after year on these products and say they're all scams.

The truth is while the medical community remains divided and clouding the public's mind about the true benefits of anti-aging hgh, the market is welcoming hgh injections, hgh sprays, supplements etc. And anti-aging clinics are popping up like mushrooms to meet the demands of baby boomers nearing retirement.

Listen, we're cloning animals (and possibly humans) in the laboratory. What's one more attempt at playing God by trying to reverse the aging process?

I have the distinct feeling whether you and I stay away from anti-aging hgh products or not, there are enough believers out there to keep this multi-billion dollar industry rolling well into the future. So, like everything else out there, be cautious, do your homework before you venture in.
